When it comes to horns, size does matter (along with a number of other factors).

When talking horns, it is all about style and, more importantly, size.

For the woodland type pixies, you need tiny little horns that are delicate. For a more male version, you need antlers that give off that king of the forest feel. For demons, it is all about the customization. If you are going for a more subdued look, as in someone who is possessed, you want to go with something small and nubb-ish, to say “hey, I'm on my way to being wicked”. For your usual demon, you want the longer hooked horns. For a more feminine look, the thin curled give that perfectly evil appearance. Last, but not least, for the grand master nasties, you need full sized horns that show off the entirety of your wickedness.

Color, another big issue. You need to make sure that the feel of the horns is perfectly relfected through their color. You can go from a green, for that woodland feel, to regular bone for the more realistic touch, or to a red to make sure you get the message across.

We have been working lately with a number of various styles and are happy to offer everything from nubs to antlers, to the full sized steer-ish horns which will be available starting next week. Along with a range of sizes, we are going to be offering customization options that give our customers the ability to have a unique set of horns crafted just for them. Oh yeah, we know our horns and are now ready to start shipping some evil across the nation!

Into the Business

Well its about damned time I start a blog for my little business. Confectionary Corpses has been operating for about a year now, having taken a name after this blog. I intend to keep all my updated projects listed here, as well as pictures and news of my progress and any new custom jobs that come up. We are currently working on a number of props, as well as a custom line of horns that come in several shapes and sizes. At the same time, we are currently designing an arm extension that is easy to use and wear that will give actors an extra reach, adding to the realism of a costume.

The Team.

C.C. is currently comprised of myself (Rad, aka Sparky)the severed head of the operation, Jabberwock our sculptor, and Manda our seamstress. In addition to the main team we also have a handful of other people who we bring in for extra help as well as for collaboration on anything we make.

Our Mission.

To startle, unnerve, disgust, abhor, and unhinge the general public especially around the month of October.

What We Do.

We create high quality horror/ fantasy movie props and costume for our clients. In addition to  our main job, we also do custom costuming by request.
